This was in Estes Park, and as you can see, it was brutally post processed via Picnik.com. Used it formerly as the old main picture for the original www.KurtTarvisPhotography.com, before I had it redirected to come here to Blogger.
Heading in to the foothills of the Rockies.
Snow-covered peaks. Behind me in the beautiful Stanley hotel, which was somewhat referenced in the book The Shining.

Snowshoeing up in the mountains, very fun, but extremely challenging for my first time.
